Life is far too busy, and while many parents breathe a sigh of relief that the long summer break is over, we also wonder how to use a slow cooker we can possibly get everything done in the afternoons and after school that we need. An after school routine is very important to every family so that we can all: make sure all the papers get signed, supplies get purchased, homework gets done, family time together, extracurricular activities are attended and so that mornings can run more smoothly. Less mess in the mornings, but having a after school routine that works for your family also means less stress.
A gammon slow cooker. At the end of a long day, it's very difficult to muster up the energy to plan and cook a meal on the fly. Prepare ingredients for dinner the night before, set them in the refrigerator overnight, and then set the cooker to run the next morning. Dinner will be ready by early evening. They can cook and gammon joint have a chicken and mushroom casserole ready for the table in to hours depending on when you're ready to dish up. The higher the temperature setting the shorter the cooking time will be. First of all, let's look at what a Slow Cooker is. You might know it under the name crock pot, or you may simply know it from your grand mother's kitchen. Remove pork from cooker and place on a large cutting board or platter and let rest for about 15 minutes. Pull meat from bones, discard fat, and place on buns or rolls to serve.
