Tired of the same old turkey sandwich on wheat bread with mustard? Here are some fun and different sandwich toppings that add a little zing to your lunch, without adding a lot of calories or fat. This is a hamburger with pork barbecue, onion straws, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomatoes on it. It was interesting and was good but would have been better if the burger wasn't quite as dry. I ordered it medium-well pulled pork carnitas there was not any pink visible, it appeared more well done than medium well. The fries that came with the hamburger were nice and crispy and gave me a chance to try their different bbq sauces they have on the table. The swee bbq sauce was very good as was the hot one. The others were average. This is a very easy crockpot recipe to make barbeque pork for sandwiches. You can serve this bbq pulled pork in a slow cooker on any bread or rolls. Serve with a side of coleslaw, beans, or an ear of corn. You can also serve with fries or potato chips. No matter what you serve it with, this easy barbeque pork for sandwiches will soon become a family favorite! And since it's cooked in a crockpot, this is the perfect dish to bring to a pot luck dinner. Barbeque pork is also a great party favorite to make during any family gathering. Our favorite Inheritance Valley wine was Two Worlds. This off dry red wine is a blend of two grapes that do very well here, Cabernet Franc and Norton. Another very enjoyable choice was Roadside Red, a little sweeter and softer on the palate. 1 Can of beer of your choice. And for those that have an issue with gluten,Wegman's sells a gluten free beer called Redbridge. Also for those who don't like beer Samantha says a can of cola works just slow cooker bbq pulled pork as good. Molasses: This is used primarily for making sauces. The bold flavor and dark color gives the sauce its thick texture an dark color. Molasses and apple cider vinegar are 2 key ingredients I use in my personal sauce recipes. As far as desert goes, if you possibly have room after such a stuff-fest, think pie a la mode, preferably apple with vanilla ice cream. But sweet potato or pecan pies are bbq pulled pork delicious as is a good old peach cobbler. I don't think the people organizing this affair could've picked a better day: 3 days into PBW. Be sure to make a day out of this, as every bar along the avenue will be participating with specials, samplings, and everything in between, including, but not limited to $15 buckets of Bell's Beer at Stogie Joe's, and a Dogfish Head-style cookout at the Pub on Passyunk East.
